Harbor Care Celebrates National Health Center Week August 7-11

NASHUA, N.H. – Harbor Care’s Health and Wellness Center at 45 High Street will celebrate National Health Center Week August 7-11 with a series of public and private events, including special days for the homeless, agriculture workers, patients, and community leaders. The Health and Wellness Center is an official Federally Qualified Health Center.

NEW GUEST SPEAKER! U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan will join us at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 10.

In 2022 the Health and Wellness Center saw more than 22,000 patient visits. The Center offers primary care and preventative services, substance use treatment, mental health care, dentistry, pharmaceutical services, and more. Nationwide Federally Qualified Health Centers serve more than 30 million Americans and lower public health costs by $24 billion each year.

The Health and Wellness Center celebration will include:

·        Support for the homeless community on Monday, August 7;

·        A salute to NH’s agriculture workers on Tuesday, August 8;

·        Patient Appreciate Day on Wednesday, August 9;

·        A community event for stakeholders, including community leaders, elected officials, and the general public on Thursday, August 10;

·        And a Staff Appreciation Day on Friday, August 11.
